GE refrigerator not cooling
A GE refrigerator that runs constantly without reaching temperature usually comes down to dirty condenser coils restricting heat exchange, a failing evaporator fan, or a defrost system fault. We always check the simplest, cheapest cause — condenser coils — first.
GE refrigerator turning on and off frequently (short cycling)
If a GE refrigerator's compressor clicks on and off more often than normal, this is usually called short cycling and points to a failing start relay or a compressor that's struggling to maintain pressure. Left unaddressed, short cycling accelerates wear on the compressor itself.
GE refrigerator water dispenser not working
A GE refrigerator water dispenser that won't deliver water is most often a frozen water line inside the door, a clogged water filter, or a failed dispenser valve. We check the filter first since it's the fastest and least expensive fix.
GE washer not spinning or draining
A GE washer that stops mid-cycle with water still in the drum points to a clogged drain pump filter or a failed pump motor. GE top-load models can also fail to spin due to a worn drive belt.
GE dryer not heating

GE dishwasher not cleaning dishes properly
Dishes coming out with residue or a film on a GE dishwasher usually means a clogged spray arm or filter restricting water flow to the dishes. Both are accessible and quick to clean during a service visit.
GE dishwasher won't start
If a GE dishwasher won't respond to the control panel at all, a faulty door latch switch is the most common cause — the machine won't start unless it can confirm the door is fully closed and latched.
